The 2016 Hungarian Grand Prix wasn't the most exciting race of the season so far, but it certainly threw up some fascinating headlines and produced some great pictures.
Lewis Hamilton snatched the championship lead away from his Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg with victory at the Hungaroring. Here is the race weekend in images. Friday
The new exit kerb sensors at the fourth and 11th corners were put through their paces in first practice as drivers tried to find the limit of the track.
Hamilton emerged fastest in first practice, finishing two tenths clear of his team-mate Rosberg, who confirmed his contract extension with Mercedes prior to the start of the session.
Jolyon Palmer was the first to be eliminated, with Felipe Massa 18th after his crash. Kevin Magnussen was next up, ahead of Marcus Ericsson, Pascal Wehrlein and Rio Haryanto.
Conditions improved enough for dry tyres at the end of Q2. Romain Grosjean was 11th, with Daniil Kvyat, Sergio Perez, Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Nasr next up.
It was an encouraging first few laps for Jenson Button, but the Brit's race quickly went downhill with an issue, drive-through penalty and a struggle to claw back ground.
Hamilton celebrated his fifth victory at the Hungaroring and fifth win of the season, as he took the lead in the drivers' standings for the first time in 2016.
